I am so g--d--- relieved to have Norman and Mariluz taking the lead in the event design. They've got this stuff down pat (well, they HAVE been in the party-design business for at least 15 or so years now). Here's their website http://mariluzdesign.com/
They came over with the kiddies Azja, Ava, and Aiden last Friday for pizza, and we went over wedding shizz & did our cake tasting while the kids watched High School Musical 1 & 2. They've got a ton of cool ideas for the centerpieces & design, and we're gonna figure out which items Russell/I can assemble on our own to cut down on costs (probly invite friends over to help). They're gonna decorate our cake too, woo hoo!
They're gonna be the primary coordinator for the day's setting-up-of-things, and will start by dropping off the wedding party flowers at the Hotel around noon. FYI, our photographer Johnny will also start taking the Bridal Party preparation pics around noon (i'll inform you of the day's schedule as we get closer to the date). And while the wedding party is out taking photos, N&M shall be working with our "volunteers" in the assembly/coordination of decorations, and the setting up in the allotted one-hour period prior to the 6pm event start time. Yes, we only get one frickin hour.
