Cliff House

For y'all history buffs, here's a lil bit on the historic Cliff House of San Francisco: http://www.cliffhouse.com/history/history.htm

And here's a suh-weet postcard from the 50s or 60s:

All the paintings and pictures of the Cliff House show the white Seal Rocks behind it. They're named that because those rocks used to be covered with noisy seals... who have since relocated to (e.g. taken over) the boat docks at Fisherman's Wharf (view their live webcam HERE).

And the lovely white color of the rocks? Seagull poop.
