We're getting together the final details for our Bachelor & Bachelorette parties, but here's what we got so far:
It's gonna be a JOINT Bachelor and Bachelorette party, which will also be in honor of two other very good friend-couples: Marco & Tammy, and Tu & Herman. We're all getting married within a few weeks of each other. We so do not want the usual type of night-out-on-the-town with the party bus and the strippers and all that stupidity, so instead we're throwing a big huge party for all of our friends (since we have a lot of common friends). We also have such limited space at our respective wedding venues (especially ours!), so this is our opportunity to celebrate with all of our other friends who we are unable to invite.
The party shall be on Saturday April 19.
The celebration will be at Lalita Thai Restaurant and Bar, which belongs to a friend of our old pal Richard, who used to own Who's Your Daddy (one of our regular hangouts for several years until it closed). They're closing the restaurant for our private party! We'll have a buffet of Thai food served at the beginning of the party. There's also a full bar for people to order their own drinks, and of course the bar shall be open all night.
We're also talking to a DJ who will provide music and... (gasp) karaoke! So yeah, it's gonna be a silly night!
Once we confirm the details, we'll be sending out a "good old-fashioned" Evite to everyone. Feel free to invite your friends too!
