Russell/I have already spoken to most of you about this, but I just wanted to finalize some details about the events for the night before the wedding, Friday May 2nd.
We shall be holding a pre-wedding rehearsal in the backyard of our SF house on 3245 Ulloa Street on Friday, and our families shall be hosting a dinner immediately to follow afterwards that evening. We would like all of you who are involved in the wedding ceremony (the Wedding Party, Officiant, Readers, Ringbearer) to be at our house starting at 4pm.
We shall spend a bit of time to meet and make introductions (for those who don't know each other), to hang out for a bit, and to meet the family. We hope to have our rehearsal started or already under way by 5pm sharp. We don't think it should take too long, and aim to be done by 6:30 or so.
We then have a 7pm dinner reservation for the group, as well as out-of-town guests/family at PPQ Dungeness Island, located in the Outer Richmond District of SF, 2332 Clement Street San Francisco, CA 94121. Everyone who is able to attend dinner has already informed me, so no need to rsvp if you've already called/emailed.
Most out-of-towners said they'd be sightseeing around SF during Friday & will meet up with us at the restaurant for dinner. A few folks have said they would like to come swing by the house early on Friday, check out the rehearsal, and hang out with Corser. Either way is fine with us! If you are going to meet us at the restaurant, here is the MAP of where the restaurant is located. From the Hotel Tomo, just drive the two blocks to Geary Street and head westward down Geary towards the Ocean & into the Richmond District (as we say it, towards "The Avenues"), and make a right on 24th Ave. Clement St is one block north of Geary. There is a parking lot on the next block (i think it's between 23rd/24th) which provides one free hour of parking with restaurant validation.
