Visiting the cousins

We went up and spent the night in Elk Grove this weekend.  As usual, Russell and Chris had their Late Night Happy Fun Time starring a bottle of Crown Royal.  Oddly, it was Clementine who was suffering the ill effects the next morning.

 Thank you Tita Yeyet for a wonderful dinner (as always!), and thank you Erica & Chris for an awesome breakfast (as always, also!)

Muir Woods

Grandma Fei and Grandpa Leonard were in San Francisco for a Gong family event.  While they were in town, we went up to Muir Woods in Marin County.

Clementine was amazed by the grand majesty of nature.  Check out our pictures HERE.

4 months and chubby as ever!

15lbs and singing every morning.




UPDATE: Don't worry, folks, Clementine is just fine.  She used to throw a fit when given the bottle, but has since been happily and calmly bottle-fed at her daycare (now drinking 5oz in her bottle!)

Soupe L'Oignon

We miss France.  We miss France a LOT.
I made Onion Soup (Julia Child's recipe via Smitten Kitchen), one of our staples while we were in Paris.  I didn't realize it would take so long to make.  But it was OH SO WORTH IT.

3 months and still chugging along

She's 13.5 pounds now and more active than ever!

Armenian Food Festival

After all these years of seeing it, we finally go to the Armenian Food Festival at St Gregory's church near our house. The food was so frickin good! We've been missing out! We will definitely take Clementine again next year so she can try the meatball keufta (as well as the seuberag, the custard pastry, the tomato bulgur wheat, the pilaf...)
